Turkish Citizenship
TURKISH CITIZENSHIP AND HOW TO APPLY
Turkiye is not only a popular tourist destination, but also a potential new home to many foreigners with its strategic location and is a focal point right at the centre of the world and also on the crossroads between Europe and Asia. It is the cradle of many different civilisations, offering a dynamic culture with many economic opportunities as well as a great lifestyle.
Turkish citizenship by investment suits investors who plan to settle in Turkiye long term, apply for the US E-2 investor visa, or secure a reliable safe haven outside their home country. Turkish citizenship can also support property purchases through access to preferential mortgage rates. Some applicants want visa-free travel to more than 110 countries, including Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong; others simply want a second citizenship for the household, since a spouse and children under 18 are included. There is no language exam and no minimum period of residence, although you do need to be in Turkiye for biometrics.
There are 5 different options of Turkiye Citizenship by Investment Program, however, the most popular option is a $400,000 USD real estate purchase held for 3 years.
The process is usually completed between 1-2 years.

The Turkish housing market is quite dynamic, with properties often being
sold within a few months, indicating a relatively high rate of liquidity in
this sector.
The demand for housing amid Turkiye's economic difficulties is largely
supported by foreigners. The devaluation of the Turkish lira plays into their
hands: there are many properties on the market at attractive prices.
